Art Story: "Releasing Song" - Discovering the Soul's Lost Melodies
As we become adults we often forget or board-up the child-like songs that we were meant to sing. We fear their freedom or we get buried in all the to-do lists of “adulthood” — which often bury us alive.
This painting, titled "Releasing Song", speaks to me of the beauty of a song once silenced now coming alive to enjoy its intended purpose: to be sung! I want to encourage anyone who has ears to hear, to discover and release the songs God has put inside of you that only you were meant to sing…. there is a world of living you cannot find apart from the freedom and beauty in their melody and message.
